I have the same things at home, I'm not sure of the name, maybe "arrêt de volet".
comme stephane, je pense que c'est un "bloque volet" je me rappelle chez ma grand mere, il y avait les memes (mais en vert) belle photo b&w
I thought at first, that it is a snow man/woman in your picture :)
We get just in this moment more snow
and I could make from snow something like this figure in your photo.
Perhaps I will make April snowman
on backyard or maybe Easter rabbit :)
