Just in front of the train station there's a beautiful park called Le Jardin des plantes
Don't hesitate to take a break there, you'll see some ducks, turtles, does (or something like that i'm not zoologist)

Here is the quartier Bouffay !
Don't miss the Mc Byrne a very good pub on the left (always overcrowded and they speak english of course better than me), and on the right if you love greek food there's a nice restaurant wich I don't remember the name but their kebabs are delicious.
